The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) has an opening for a technology transfer and commercialization intern position. The Office of Technology Transfer at DU is responsible for promoting research partnerships and negotiating agreements between the University and outside entities. These partnerships help enable federally funded research findings to be further developed and commercialized. Additionally, the Office of Technology Transfer is responsible for managing, protecting, and licensing the University’s intellectual property.
The OTT Internship Program provides graduate students the opportunity to assist our licensing professionals in commercializing DU inventions and conduct legal review on research related contracts such as sponsored research agreements, non-disclosure agreements, data-transfer agreements and material transfer agreements. Students will gain valuable experience in developing an understanding of intellectual property law, market and industry analysis, and licensing methods and techniques.
