The Lead Contract Analyst assists and resolves complex claims and pre-litigation disputes presented to the Company by its customers in the enterprise sales channels. This Contract Analyst assists the transactional and litigation attorneys and the business and operational teams to research facts and engage with customers regarding their disputes (including the ability to negotiate settlements with such customers), draft settlement agreements, provide contract interpretations and direction, and generally be a resource to the attorneys and internal operational teams.
The Main Responsibilities
– Evaluate business and legal issues involving complex contracts and ancillary agreements and documents and apply contract law principles in the evaluation
– Interface with and utilize internal resources (sales, product, engineering, pricing, regulatory, legal counsel, etc.) in the evaluation and resolution of disputes
– Special projects as needed
– Work independently but consult attorneys as necessary
– Communicate detailed and complex information in writing, in person, and virtually
What We Look For in a Candidate
– Bachelor’s Degree or related degree plus 2+ years related experience
– Legal training and background, JD preferred
