The Colorado Judicial Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization that seeks to promote excellence, equity, impartiality, and public trust in Colorado’s courts through outreach, education, and engagement. CJI is looking for six (6) student volunteers to assist at its 20th Annual Judicial Excellence for Colorado Gala Dinner the evening of Tuesday, November 1st, 2022 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel.
According to CJI, the event begins with a cocktail reception for guests beginning at 5:30 p.m. and would like to request that volunteers be available to arrive by 4:30 p.m. to check in and be given volunteer assignments for the evening. The dinner and awards program are scheduled to begin by/before 7:00 p.m., following the cocktail reception, and typically ends around 9:30 p.m. Volunteer assignments are needed for: shadowing the event photographer for the evening (this will require note taking and interaction with guests for verifying names), assisting guests with finding their name badges, assisting guests in finding their table number within the ballroom, and miscellaneous requests from the CJI staff as needed. All volunteers will be able to sit and listen to the award presentations, as well as enjoy a complimentary (sit down/plated) dinner.
If you are available to volunteer or have any questions, please contact: Laura Rothenberg (Laura@ColoradoJudicialInstitute.org).
