The Colorado Attorney General is accepting applications for a Criminal Justice Section (CJS) Fellow! The Fellowship is set to begin in May/June 2022 (or as soon as possible) and will go until October 2023. The Fellowship is open to newer and mid-level lawyers who are passionate about prosecution and who are outstanding legal writers and have a demonstrated interest in litigation. According to the linked description:
“The CJS Fellow will have the opportunity to work in the Financial Fraud Unit in the Criminal Justice Section prosecuting Insurance Fraud and securities fraud cases. This will include reviewing referrals, filing cases, appearing in court across the state on those cases, and generally assisting fellow Unit attorneys with prosecutions. The CJS Fellows will regularly interface with other attorneys in the unit, participate in trial strategy meetings, and research and analyze topical matters of state and federal law pertaining to insurance fraud. The CJS Fellow will also have opportunities to engage with other Fellows and attend trainings throughout the Department of Law designed specifically for newer attorneys.”
