October 14: Civility Matters

The American Board of Trial Advocates presents Civility Matters, a program to assist lawyers and law students of all experience levels handle themselves with civility and professionalism when faced with challenging situations. The program will present different scenarios involving discovery disputes, depositions and trial situations that challenge civility and professionalism.

Three teams each, consisting of prominent plaintiff and defense lawyers and moderated by Adams County District Court Judge Teri L. Vasquez, will address how to avoid and handle the challenging situations. Faculty include Sommer D. Luther, Stuart Mann, Thomas J. Tomazin, Angela E. McGraw, Josh Proctor, Rebecca Wagner, Ellis J. Mayer, Joe Pickard, and John M. Palmeri.

Civility Matters is developed and presented by the American Board of Trial Advocates, an invitation only organization of plaintiff and defense lawyers whose mission includes promoting civility among the legal profession.

Approved for CPD credit.

Approved for 1.8 ethics CLE credits and 0.2 general CLE credits by the Colorado Supreme Court
