April 8th: Diversity IRL

Diversity IRL

  • Thursday, April 8th, 2021
  • 5:00-6:30 pm Mountain Time

Register here to show your interest to the Ball representatives and receive a reminder email the day before the event.

Workplace diversity, equity and inclusion can look very different in real life than in the marketing pitches you hear from recruiters. Some large companies create groups to support their underrepresented employees called “Employee Resource Groups, Affinity Groups or Network Groups.” Think of these like the student organizations and clubs you are involved with here on campus.
Come learn about what it is like to work at a place like Ball Corp/Aerospace as part of one of their Network Groups. You’ll hear about real life experiences from a panel of network group members at Ball followed by small group discussions with our panelists.
Keep in mind that this is open to ALL students and alumni that are interested in Ball Corp. or Ball Aerospace OR learning more about diversity in the workplace!
Ball network groups in attendance will include:

  • Hispanic Network
  • Indigenous Peoples Network
  • African Diaspora Network
  • Asian Network
