If you are seeking a legal position for next summer, register today for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness (CLI) Annual Diversity Legal Career Fair & Summit, taking place on Monday, July 29, 2019. Students may start submitting applications to employers this coming Monday, June 24th . The fair attracts large law firms, government agencies, and nonprofits. The majority of employers will be interviewing for Summer 2020 positions, and several large firms interviewing for OCI positions are also interviewing at this fair (so if you plan on applying to the below firms through OCI, I would also apply via this career fair). The participating employers have demonstrated a commitment to expanding opportunities and assisting the legal profession in fulfilling its commitment to diversity.
In addition to the Career Fair during which you will interview with employers, you are also invited to attend the Diversity Summit for free, held concurrently with the Career Fair. The Summit is a full-day annual conference featuring national experts discussing cutting-edge diversity and inclusiveness topics. Not only is this a great opportunity to gain more knowledge about D/I topics, but you’ll be able to network with over 200 legal professionals attending the conference. With workplace environments experiencing ever-changing dynamics, it is more important than ever to have the skills and tools necessary to drive strategies for advancing diversity and inclusion.
If you are interested in attending the Career Fair and/or Summit, please see the timeline and interviewing employers below and more information here, and to begin the process, please register on CLI’s Symplicity site at https://law-cli-csm.symplicity.com/ .
