Denver Legal Hackers is holding the following upcoming Events:
- Join us on Monday, April 15, 2019 for a discussion with Jeff Aresty, Founder and President of the Internetbar.org (IBO), and Larry Bridgesmith, CEO of LPM Alignment and Legal Alignment LLC, about how lawyers and others are creating norms in cyberspace and a new justice layer to the internet. We will be meeting from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Room 353 of Sturm Hall. For more information, go to https://www.denverlegalhackers.com/#3.
- On May 14, we will discuss the projects we want our Chapter to pursue. Members have already suggested two potential projects: (1) developing a community hub for access to legal services, and (2) workshopping a way to assist people with student loans. These are broad concepts we want to use as a starting point for discussing as a group how we can work together to design solutions. We will discuss these ideas and ask participants to tell us any other issues they would like our group to work on. One of our members will also introduce you to design thinking as a human-centered and innovative way to identify problems and solutions. Meet us from 7-9pm at the mezzanine level of Oasis Brewery, located at 3257 Lowell Blvd. For more information, go to https://www.denverlegalhackers.com/#3.
- Join us at Grandma’s House on June 11 from 7-9 pm to meet fellow legal hackers over happy hour! We will briefly update everyone on the projects we have selected for the coming year and how the Chapter is developing, but really we just want to carve out time to meet other Hackers and discuss common interests. Grandma’s House is located at 1710 S Broadway. For more information, go to https://www.denverlegalhackers.com/#3.
