Colorado Supreme Court Observation and Discussion with Justices
On behalf of the Chief Justice’s Commission on Professional Development, you are invited to participate in the Spring 2019 Open Courts Colorado program. Open Courts Colorado provides law students from CU and DU with the opportunity to observe trial or appellate courts in action and, then, have an opportunity for discussion with judges or justices. For the Spring 2019 observation, a limited number of students will have the opportunity to observe oral arguments before the Colorado Supreme Court on Wednesday, April 10, at 10 am. Lunch and interaction with justices will follow the argument. If you attend, you should expect to be at the Judicial Center until 1:30 pm. Oral arguments are held at the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center, 2 East 14th Avenue in Denver.
The April 10 observation is only open to 15 students from CU (and 15 students from DU), and spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with a waitlist if necessary. To register for this event, please email email@example.com on or by 5 pm on March 20, 2019, with “Supreme Court RSVP” in the subject line. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to observe and interact with the Colorado Supreme Court.
