Curricular Practical Training Workshop
Friday, November 9
2200 S Josephine St
This workshop is aimed at current students who are required to or have the option to and are interested in pursuing off campus internships as part of their curriculum here at DU. This workshop will discuss government regulations regarding who is eligible and the DU process for applying for CPT. It is highly recommended that students who wish to pursue off campus internships attend this if they can.

Optional Practical Training Workshop
Monday, November 12
Anderson Academic Commons 301
This workshop is for students who will be graduating in the next three to six months. It will discuss what OPT is, who is eligible, changes in the application process and common concerns and issues with the OPT application process. With a lot of fluctuating changes in government interpretations, I really recommend students who are looking to pursue employment after graduation to attend an OPT session. Sign up here.
H1 B and Beyond
Wednesday, November 14
Immigration attorney Steven Williams will discuss work options that go beyond F-1 OPT and CPT. This is a workshop that will be beneficial for students who are looking for more long term options for remaining in the U.S. Options discussed may be more applicable to graduate level students, but all are welcome!
