George Brauchler and Phil Weiser to debate attorney general candidate issues focusing on criminal justice issues

The Colorado Criminal Defense Bar (CCDB) and the Community College of Denver (CCD) Paralegal Program formally announces a public debate for the candidates seeking the position of Colorado State Attorney General. The debate will be held at CCD’s Confluence Center on Auraria campus on October 22, 2018. The event begins at 4:00 pm.
AG candidates George Brauchler (R) and Phil Weiser (D) will participate in the debate.
Moderators will pose approximately 10 questions on a variety of issues and topics within the scope of the A.G.’s office with an emphasis on criminal justice issues. The debate will follow a traditional format. Each candidate will have the opportunity to provide a first responses to questions, with replies to follow. All answers and responses will be governed by a set time limit and the debate will conclude with a closing statement from each candidate.
