On behalf of the National Association of Women Judges (NAWJ), law students are invited to attend this year’s NAWJ jet mentoring event. The event will take place on November 7, from 5:00-7:00 pm in the library of the Ralph L. Carr Judicial Center, 2 East 14th Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80203.
The purpose of this program is to connect law students with female judges and distinguished lawyers in the area, and to inspire young professionals as they begin their legal careers. Students will have an opportunity to speak with a number of judges and lawyers with diverse backgrounds, with the goal of informing law students of the variety of opportunities and paths to success.
A “passport book” for each student, with a description of each mentor, will be distributed before the event. A light reception will follow. As time permits, current Court of Appeals Law Clerks will be available to show students the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals courtrooms.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by October 30. Register as soon as possible: due to space constraints, NAWJ can only accept the first 25 students who RSVP.
