A Career in Criminal Justice

This event will feature Michael Dougherty, current assistant district attorney in Jefferson County, as well as candidate for Colorado Attorney General. Mr. Dougherty will lead an interactive session about questions about the criminal justice system, including challenges faced by prosecutors and public perception, and discuss the various players and roles in government for people interested in pursuing the public good from “inside the system. Now more than ever, the Attorney General of each state is at the forefront when it comes to protecting individual rights, immigrants, and the environment, and Mr. Dougherty will discuss this role as well.
