2017 Plaintiffs Employment Law Association (PELA) Retreat (see $25 student registration)

Mark your calendar for 8/24-8/25 if you are considering an employment law career representing employee plaintiffs.
The Plaintiffs Employment Law Association (“PELA”) Retreat is on August 24 and 25 at the Pines at Genesee. Registration is now open!

We have a great lineup this year. Somehow, we keep outdoing ourselves.

In addition to new faces from out of state, Walt Auvil and Carl Douglas (he did half of OJ’s closing argument), all of your favorites are back! Paula Greisen on Opening Statements! Arash Jahanian and Laura Wolf on Religion in the Workplace! John Culver on Workplace Privacy Rights! Joan Bechtold and Barry Roseman on recent significant cases and legislation!

We will have the schedule available soon. We expect to apply for about 15 CLE credits, including 2 ethics credits.

Registration Fees:

$25 – Students

$100 – First time attendee PELA members

$100 – Paralegals and staff (of current PELA members)

$150 – PELA members if you’ve previously attended a Retreat

$200 – Non-PELA NELA and CTLA members who do not regularly defend employers in employment cases

Location: Pines at Genesee, 633 Park Point Dr, Golden, CO 80401

2017 Graduates are welcome to attend as well! The fee is also $25, for recent grads who are also PELA student members. If students or recent graduates have questions about joining PELA, please contact Ben Lebsack (Ben@lowrey-parady.com).
