Justice Reinvestment: The Solution to Mass Incarceration? Denver Law Review Symposium, 2017

The Denver Law Review would like to invite you to attend this year’s symposium Justice Reinvestment: The Solution to Mass Incarceration? – which will be held Thursday, Feb. 2 and Friday, Feb. 3, 2017 at the law school.

The symposium will host national and local scholars, attorneys, community organizers, and activists to discuss justice reinvestment approaches. The solutions-oriented conference will discuss whether efforts to divest from prisons and reinvest in community needs, like education, healthcare, mental health treatment, and more are effective solutions to mass incarceration.

Faculty and staff members at Denver Law may attend the conference for free. We ask that you please register so we have appropriate food counts. Denver Law faculty and staff can register under “speaker/panelists” rate—which is the free option. The symposium is pending up to 14 CLEs. The agenda for the symposium is attached.

Please contact Katie Steefel at ksteefel17@law.du.edu with any questions.
