The Department of Law for the Colorado Attorney General is coming on campus on January 23 between noon and 5:00 pm to interview 1Ls, 2Ls, and 3LEs for summer externship positions. This office is the chief legal counsel to all state agencies and serves the people of the State by enforcing state statutes and regulations. The Department of Law further provides legal services related to consumer protection laws, prosecuting criminal appeals, protecting our natural resources and environment. As one of the largest law practices in the State of Colorado, our law practice is diverse and rewarding.
Candidates must have the ability to allocate a minimum of 15 to 20 hours per week, work a minimum of 10 to 12 weeks, and successfully complete a criminal background check and fingerprint check. PLEASE NOTE: Civil Litigation & Employment Law, Criminal Justice, and Natural Resources do not accept first-year law students.
