The Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals seek diverse* 2L, 3L, 3LE or 4LE students from CU and DU as judicial interns. Interns will work approximately ten (10) hours per week during the spring semester (January-April) and will coordinate their schedules with their supervising justice/judge and receive time off during exam periods and law school breaks. These are unpaid positions, but Externship credit may be available. Students interested in receiving externship credit for a position under this program should contact the externships office in suite 365 and/or at externships@law.du.edu to understand how the program works, and to ensure they are aware of the deadlines and enrollment procedures.

This internship program is designed to increase access to the Colorado court system for diverse law students. For more information, please see Symplicity Job #13776 for more information. Applications are due Friday, September 30, 2016 at 11:59 p.m.

*For purposes of this program, “diverse” students are those who are historically underrepresented in the legal profession (generally based on race, ethnicity, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, socio-economic status, and national origin).
