This position will: 1) meet and interview potential complainants who are seeking to file a Charge of Discrimination; 2) assess whether a jurisdictional issue under the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Acts is presented; 3) draft formal complaints of discrimination; and 4) utilize the Division’s automated case management system to record intake information.
CDO Note: This is a 9-month position, FT during the summer, but it can be reduced to PT during the school year for a continuing law student. It is possible for this temp job to lead to a permanent position with the State of Colorado. Rising 2L and 3L (and evening program equivalents) and 0-2 year recent grads with interest in civil rights and strong writing skills are encouraged to apply.
