“A Law Firm is a Business – Knowing This Can Help You Thrive in Your Job Search and in Private Practice”
Strong legal skills are fundamental to your success in private practice. That said, it is equally important to understand the business aspects of the private practice of law. In this program, you will meet in small groups with lawyers from an array of private practice settings to discuss a variety of business issues in private practice. We will cover different firm structures and fee arrangements; marketing & client development; client service and more. Underlying all of this will be an emphasis on how you can market yourself to law firms and how you can succeed in private practice by providing outstanding service to your client and your firm.
