Law Student Paid Position – Lakewood City Attorney’s Office

Part-time Law Clerk to begin working May 23, 2016 and continue throughout the school year. Needs to have completed the first or second year of law school by the summer and must have taken or be enrolled in a criminal procedure class for the fall semester. Will perform legal research pertaining to 4th and 5th Amendment issues, civil rights law, the Colorado Criminal Code, and legislative changes. Will report to the attorney for the Lakewood Police Department. Hours of work: 10 – 15 hours a week during the school year and 15-20 hours a week during the summer. $20/hour, no benefits. Include cover letter, references, and resume as attachments to your application.
