Every year, more new Denver Law graduates go to small law firms than to any other single type of employer—a few even go solo. Because small firms offer such a wide range of opportunities, any law student considering private practice should participate in this interactive program, where you will get to speak with solo and small firm practitioners in a small-group format. This program will provide you with practical information on:
- How to get a job in a small firm – how to find these opportunities and how to differentiate yourself from other candidates
- The benefits/challenges of going into solo / small firm practice
- The business side of small firm practice (e.g. marketing, billing, collecting, etc.)
- The many benefits of joining Colorado Bar Association and specifically, the CBA’s Solo / Small Firm Section such as the opportunity find mentors and build other professional relationships; complimentary access to Casemaker – a robust platform for legal research, and more!)
Illegal Pete’s will be served and Passport Credit is available (#CareerPlanning)!
